I am primerily a self-taught jewellery designer working from my workbench at "the studio".  I began making jewellery on a small scale in my home town of Epping (London, England) and expanded my skills when i moved to Totnes, Devon 5 years ago.  I now enjoy working for myself, living in the South West, designing my destinctive bespoke jewellery.

 

My business is located at "the studio" which is housed within the Cider Press Centre, a craft based visitors centre within the Dartington Hall Estate near Totnes.  I enjoy working in such an idyllic setting, happily this naturally beautiful location attracts wonderfuly loyal local customers all year round  - i also enjoy meeting the many international visitors to the studio who have direcly encouraged me to set up this website so that they can keep up to date with my current work and enable them to purchase my designs, for those life events........ or just because!

 

 

My Influences................

these are often directly taken from the unique natural beads and stones i source from all over the world.  I really enjoy taking elements from ancient hand crafted jewellery - specifically Roman and pre-coloumian gold work.  At the other end of the design scale i often employ modern, contenmorary elemements within my designs........ for me the beauty being the subtle balance beteween old and new.

 

How i work................

all my work is carried out at my work-bench at the studio and each design fabricated to order. As i am primerily self taught i can use my traditional fabrication skills i've learnt in a most unique way.  see gallery.

 

I take great pride in making beautiful jewellery for my customers and for my very individual care and attention i give to each piece i make, be it a simple pair of earrings or a most lucious diamond ring.
